Ursula the Hierothot (she/her) is a third-generation tarot reader that literally grew up at Eye of Horus! A former reader at The Eye MPLS, we’re so excited to have her back! She approaches the tarot from an academic, interdisciplinary perspective. Her reading style is heavily influenced by the archetypal “hero’s journey” narrative. Some of her go-to tarot decks are the Voyager deck and the Thoth deck. Be ready for a candid, no-bullshit reading like no other.

She first gained an appreciation for mythology at age 10, when a skeptical librarian questioned her ability to finish The Odyssey during her allotted two weeks. This has, in the intervening 18 years, spiraled out of control, and now she’s a full-fledged, tarot-reading, Hermes-worshipping former-classics-major.
